6th Grade Afterschool Work Sessions

What is 6th grade work session?

The purpose of the work sessions is to help students with missing assignments make up their work and/or for students in need of technology resources outside of school hours. It is an independent session, so students will not be tutored. They will be working independently to complete any missing assignments or projects they have. This session will provide students with the ability to use computers and print any work they need. Students should come to the session with all assignments they need to work that are not accessible on teachers websites. Preparation ahead of time is very important before attending the session.

Who can attend?
Any student with missing assignments, or who does not have the use of a computer at home is welcomed to come.

How do you sign up?
The process for attending a session is as follow: Students must sign up in advance on Mrs. Leon’s office door. Once spaces are filled for a date, students can no longer sign up. Students will need to have a signed permission slip turned into Mrs. Leon before the session.   Permission slips are on Mrs. Leon’s door.

Expectations
- Students must arrive to the session on time.
- Students must have work to complete.
- Students who attend the session will have to be productive. Students who are not productive will not be allowed to attend another session.

Pick Up Procedures
Activity Bus or Carpool.

Students who are carpool, will need to be picked up by 5:05PM SHARP. Students who are not picked will not be allowed to attend another session unless they are riding the activity bus home.
